Short Duration: This variety matures in a very short time (approximately
105to 1 10 days).
Suitable for Late Sowing: Farmers can sow it from December to the
first week of January. Yield: Under irrigated conditions, its average yield
is 42 to 50 quintals per hectare. Grain Quality: Its grains are medium
to large, golden, and shiny, which fetches a good price (amber color)
in the market. Quality (Bread): It is considered very good for eating
chapati. Plant Structure: Medium height (dwarf) plants with grains that
do not fall from the ears. Area: Recommended primarily for arid and
semi-arid regions of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh,
Rajasthan, and North India. Suitability: Yields well in medium and
loamy soils, requiring 4-5 irrigations.
